YouthSavers Club
Welcome to the DFFCU YouthSavers page. DFFCU YouthSavers is a financial club for children and teens of DuPont Fibers Federal Credit Union. It teaches and encourages kids to save and spend money wisely. If you are12 or younger and a member of DFFCU, you are eligible to join. Joining the club is easy, just follow the three steps below.
STEP 1
Visit one of our two DFFCU branches and open an account with a minimum of $5.00. If you are already a member, just come in and add "DFFCU YouthSavers" to your account. You will receive a new membership packet which includes the following: a membership card identifying you as an official member of DFFCU YouthSavers, a Share/Savings account record book, and a coin saver.
STEP 2
"SAVE IT!" Begin saving by filling the coin saver book with quarters. When the book is full, take it into any one of our DFFCU branches or Shared Service Centers and deposit it into your account. Remember that the coin saver book is just a start. You can deposit as much money into your account as you’d like. The more you put in, the faster your money will grow!
STEP 3
When you reach the first savings level, you will be sent a letter which you could use to purchase "cool stuff" from your rewards list! There are four different "savings" levels, which means more letters and more rewards. The more you save, the more you earn.
