The Ruby A. Robinson Scholarship program provides educational funds for DFFCU members actively using the Credit Union. Up to two $2,500 scholarships will be awarded to eligible high school seniors who will be enrolled in a two or four year college or university for the upcoming academic year. Education Exchange College Grant Program The Education Exchange is an annual scholarship program that offers a total of $50,000 in college grants to eligible high school seniors yearly. The program's goal is to recognize, honor and assist hardworking and academically talented students further their education. The program is co-sponsored by the Exchange, MPACT and TX automated teller machine (ATM) networks, which are owned and operated by EDS, along with TransAlliance - an electronic funds transfer processor. The Education Exchange is presented to students locally through financial institutions that are members of the sponsoring organizations. (Check back for this application) Richmond Chapter of Credit Unions The Richmond Chapter of Credit Unions offers 2, $1,500 scholarships for college, technical, or trade school enrollment after June and before December 31 of each year. The scholarship is available to high school students who will graduate by December 31st. The applicant must be a member or their parent(s) must be a member of a Richmond Chapter Credit Union. Scholarships are awarded primarily on the basis of merit, not financial need. |
