DFFCU Remains Safe and Sound
A message from the CEO
|
With the continuing news of challenges in the financial markets, I want to assure you that DFFCU remains financially strong and well positioned to serve your financial needs. As you may have heard, the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) made the decision to place into conservatorship two wholesale corporate credit unions – U.S. Central Federal Credit Union and Western Corporate “WesCorp” Federal Credit Union. Corporate credit unions do not serve consumers. Instead they provide products and services to credit unions. The conservatorships mean that services provided by these corporate credit unions will continue uninterrupted. I want to assure you that these actions do NOT affect the safety and soundness of DuPont Fibers Federal Credit Union or our members’ deposits. Knowing the following about DFFCU may help ease any uncertainties you have due to the unsettling financial market conditions or media reports. > Here at DFFCU, we continue to serve our members with responsible lending and offering a safe place to save Finally, DFFCU is here to stay and serve you as it has for over 50 years! I thank all members for your patronage, and if you have family or friends who are looking for a conservative, stable financial institution, DuPont Fibers Federal Credit Union welcomes them! |
